We had some stupid trends in these years, but the tide pod challenge has to be one of the stupidest. What you do is eat a Tide Pod, then record it and post it on social media. The demographic of this challenge are teens and young adults.

If people are dying from purposely eating laundry detergent, it’s natural selection at that point.

People have been eating Tide pods since 2013, but it got popular these last couple of months. It started off as a joke, but then someone uploaded a video of himself eating one, which sparked the trend. People have been posting so much of themselves eating tide pods, that social media websites are censoring the videos. Tide themselves are posting  videos saying not to eat tide pods. There have been numerous deaths caused by tide pods. Poison control has stated that their number of calls has increased since the start of this challenge.

If you’re thinking of eating a tide pod, just think how stupid you are if you do, and how people will treat you like an idiot.

“If people are dying from eating laundry detergent, it’s natural selection at that point.” This is my favorite line of your article! I mean, I can understand if a small child or infant would eat a Tide Pod because it’s colorful and looks like a giant gummy candy. But let’s be honest, teens and young adults should know better! Great story!

If you have a young sibling and afraid he or she will eat some Tide Pods, you must deploy the box with a 3000 Electrocutor, so once the baby opens the box and reaches in for a Tide Pod, it will rip the baby’s hand off, preventing it from grabbing a Tide Pod. Such a great way to save a child!

It takes a special kind of person to eat Tide Pods. You could also talk about what could happen to your body when you eat a Tide Pod. Did you also know that there are recipes for edible Tide Pods? They make them out of gelatin!
