Now that it’s October, the day of frights and trick’o’treating is coming up. Halloween! Since Halloween is celebrated on one of the autumn months, October 31st, everyone shows out their holiday spirit, they decorate their houses, go to haunted houses, play scary pranks, and many more things. Halloween is one of the many celebrated and loved holidays, such as Christmas or Thanksgiving.

People celebrate Halloween the way they like to. The majority of people during Halloween go trick or treating, and it’s usually children. Others like to do things such as a Halloween festival, or a costume party, mostly any party that has to do with Halloween. Teenagers or grown ups, could do other things, like playing pranks on their friends, going around in public with costumes, or going to some haunted houses.

Our state, Utah, has many haunted houses. A few of the most loved and scariest are Nightmare on 13th, Fear Factory, Asylum 49, Haunted Forest, and quite a few more. Our most haunted one, according to Google searches, is the Haunted Forest. Now I myself personally, have been to the Haunted Forest. It was a pretty scary and fun experience to be there. I’ll stop here so it’s not spoiled for any of you going in the future.

Anyways, moving on, there’s actually some people that don’t even celebrate Halloween at all. Some think Halloween is a holiday of bad luck, where others think it’s a sin of evil. Mostly people who are religious don’t celebrate Halloween, where it has to do with evil and monsters, which makes them believe it’s from the hell, or the devil.

Therefore, Halloween is majorly celebrated, so go out there and have some fun!

Fun article! I definitely have mixed emotions about Halloween – it’s fun for kids, but can also be scary. I definitely avoid haunted houses. Why would someone pay money to get scared?

Haha, very funny, but at least they’re fun to go to, especially when you never know what they have in there!
